Things not to do:
After surgery you should get as much rest as possible, the perfect excuse to stay in bed or lounge on the sofa! Over exerting yourself can cause increased bleeding and complications so it is really important you rest for as long as possible and avoid exercise for 3-4 days until you have mostly recovered.
Due to the surgery, you will have to change what and how much you can eat. Ensure the foods you are consuming are nutritious and require very little chewing.
You should avoid:
Recovery times differ from patient to patient so it is important to listen to the advice of your dentist, not your friends or colleagues.
